Sounds and looks like the time at the RNC was off the hook. Rage Against the Machine showed up to talk to the people. I saw a video of a girl getting sprayed in the face by cops, hit with their bikes, then they pushed her to the ground. I've seen some other videos of police abuse as well. But definitely check out the vid of Rage. Zach de La Rocha will make you feel something when he speaks.
I'm not big on Pharrell or N.E.R.D., but the Neptunes collective has great production. I can't front on that. But as far as being performers, there's not much substance there.
For people to not know who Bad Brains is, it's somewhat surprising, but at the same time not really at all. Bad Brains is said to be the original hardcore punk band, and the rest followed. Peep the Afro-Punk DVD. But one of the great things happening is that Bad Brains has reunited, and they will be touring again as a complete roster. The biggest thing of all is that BB will be doing a show at the 9:30 Club in D.C. on Nov. 4 (election day) to mark the 20 year anniversary of Banned in D.C. Might have to hit that.
And Viagra was never meant to be for e.d. It was introduced as heart medication, but being that it increased the blood flow so well (and magic happens when blood flows), men began to experience working mechanics they didn't have for however long. Now it is marketed as a drug for e.d.
And big ups to the Philadelphia Eagles! All day!
