I just saw KRS-ONE for the first time this past summer. It was a great night, especially when he started spittin' over classical music. I don't know if that's a regular part of his routine, but it was dope regardless.
That worthy discussion was laughable. Funny haha, not funny scoff.
Not having insurance sucks. I've been there, and it can be scary when you really feel like you could benefit from some sort of assistance.
Broken cars. Ugh...
I didn't see any Obamas, but I saw a super dark guy dressed as McCain. McCain with black hands. Literally black. And yeah, girls dress mad sleazy every Halloween.
On some blackface though, if you scream on somebody about that stuff, chances are, they won't understand where you're coming from. Then again, they may not care. If they did, they probably wouldn't have dressed up to portray stereotypes in the first place.
My homie out in the Lou (who I won't name) knows Chingy and all those other cats over there, and word is, Chingy is a real grimey cat. Those were his words.
Another good show. I'll be on the lookout for the next ep.
Listen To M.P.L.S. is a Minneapolis based podcast hosted by FranzDiego.com and Alicia Steele. It is based on Minneapolis life, love, music, people, parties, relationships, art, work, and anything else! We often have excellent guests too!
