Solja Boy is sooooo whack! I don't get it. F 'em. That's all there really is to it. Yeah, I hate. I don't care. He said some real ignorant ish, and if you watch his response to Ice-T, you'll see he's a real uneducated dude.
And Franz, the Immortal Technique line was, "'Cause if you go platinum/ it's got nothin' to do with luck/ It just means that a million people are stupid as fuck"
That line definitely applies to Solja Boy.
I fell off Kanye. He got mad egotistical, then apologized for it. Then he slipped back into his feelin' himself. So aside from his attitude, I'm liking less and less of his music.
Oh, and this was kind of an afterthought, but some intelligent rappers I came up with include Tupac (despite his negative image), Chuck D. (real obvious), Immortal Technique (mainly political, but still on-point), KRS-ONE (just listen to the music), and Canibus (the reason some people don't like his music).
I've been shouted like three times on this show, and I'm not from anywhere near Minneapolis. Thanks for the love. I'm really hoping we can link up next month.

I got beef with Immortal Technique. The brother is MAD homophobic - not feeling that at all. I declared on 5-23-08 at 8:06pm that I was no longer a fan.

What happened in the beginning!
We will get that fixed. Again, 18 birthdays don't always go smoothly. Sometimes it is just the world kicking yo ass into adulthood.

I understand what you mean with Tech. He is extremely homophobic, but I'll attribute some of that to him being raised Christian (I'm assuming Catholic, because he's originally from Peru), living in Harlem, and at some point, switching over to Islam (which many in the religion claim there are no gay muslims). Vinnie Paz and Jus Allah of Jedi Mind Tricks are a lot like Tech, because a lot of their lyrics take stabs at homosexuals.
I was raised Catholic, and I still claim it. I was brought up to believe that homosexuality is wrong, but that also comes with being black. Very taboo. Did I grow past that? Yeah, I did. But that's the way things are. Look what happened in California during the election.
Don't get it twisted, I'm not justifying anything that he says or how he feels, but I'm attempting to shed some light on it.
